Spring 2018 Suit UpUNT students who were in need of professional clothing to help them ace job interviews received assistance from the Career Center through the Spring 2018 Suit Up event, held Feb. 15. The event enabled 647 students to select and keep a total of 2,018 professional and business casual clothing and accessory items from donations made by UNT faculty and staff and employers/businesses.

“Many students on campus cannot afford professional clothing needed for interviews, networking events, internships and jobs,” said Deidre Leslie, associate director for the Career Center. “As a result, they are at a potential disadvantage in the career search process. It is our goal at the Career Center to prepare students for the professional world in every way possible. This event helps students to make a great first impression in their upcoming interviews and professional interactions.”

Spring 2018 Suit UpThe Career Center would like to thank everyone who donated and made the event such a big success.
