Summer/Fall Eagle Camp is open to any new student who will be attending UNT in the
fall. Current students and staff will also be in attendance. Eagle Camp is for all
types of people. We have activities that cater to different personality types and
work on team-building and making connections, so don't miss out!
You get a head-start on meeting new people, making friends, and becoming a part of
the UNT family. 94% of the people who attended last year said they would definitely
recommend Eagle Camp to future students! So maybe the question should be, "Why shouldn't I attend Eagle Camp?"
The cost for both Eagle Camp is $170. This fee covers transportation to camp, three
meals throughout the weekend, lodging at the camp for one night, a camper t-shirt,
and participant materials!
Lucky for you, Eagle Camp has so many activities that you have options on the activities
in which you participate. Eagle Camp is NOT a camping trip—you will be staying in
air-conditioned (or heated in January) cabins which have bunk beds and clean restrooms.
Yes, it is a good idea to bring some cash if you plan to purchase any snacks from
the camp store, gift shop or vending machines. All other activities and meals are
included in the cost of Eagle Camp.
Any items that are extremely important to you or expensive should probably be left
at home. Any alcohol, drugs or weapons of any kind (including pocket knives) are not
allowed at camp. We take this issue very seriously, and if you are caught with any
of these items, you will be sent home without a refund and referred to the Dean of Students.
