• When and where is Eagle Camp?

The date for Eagle Camp for Fall 2024 has yet to be determined. Our site will be updated when the dates is solidified.

  • Who goes to Eagle Camp?

Summer/Fall Eagle Camp is open to any new student who will be attending UNT in the fall. Current students and staff will also be in attendance. Eagle Camp is for all types of people. We have activities that cater to different personality types and work on team-building and making connections, so don't miss out!

  • Why should I attend Eagle Camp?

You get a head-start on meeting new people, making friends, and becoming a part of the UNT family. 94% of the people who attended last year said they would definitely recommend Eagle Camp to future students! So maybe the question should be, "Why shouldn't I attend Eagle Camp?"

  • How much does it cost?

The cost for both Eagle Camp is $170. This fee covers transportation to camp, three meals throughout the weekend, lodging at the camp for one night, a camper t-shirt, and participant materials!

  • What if I don't like camps or the outdoors?

Lucky for you, Eagle Camp has so many activities that you have options on the activities in which you participate. Eagle Camp is NOT a camping trip—you will be staying in air-conditioned (or heated in January) cabins which have bunk beds and clean restrooms.

  • Do I need to bring extra money?

Yes, it is a good idea to bring some cash if you plan to purchase any snacks from the camp store, gift shop or vending machines. All other activities and meals are included in the cost of Eagle Camp.

  • What do I bring to camp?
    • Clothes for two days, one night in the Texas heat
    • Comfortable, closed-toe shoes
    • Pillow and sleeping bag or twin sheets
    • Flashlight
    • One-piece swimsuit and towel
    • Hat, sunscreen, sunglasses
    • Toiletries and a towel
    • Insect repellent
    • Change for soft drink machine
  • What do I not bring to camp?

Any items that are extremely important to you or expensive should probably be left at home. Any alcohol, drugs or weapons of any kind (including pocket knives) are not allowed at camp. We take this issue very seriously, and if you are caught with any of these items, you will be sent home without a refund and referred to the Dean of Students.
