Meadows Center for Health Resources
Located in Suite 301 of Chestnut Hall
The Meadows Center for Health Resources is the health education office of the Student Health and Wellness Center. At the Meadows Center, students are welcome to ask health questions in a welcoming and educational environment. Staff are trained to discuss a variety of health issues with students and make appropriate referrals to Health Center clinical staff or other resources. The Meadows Center cannot provide treatment advice and students needing medical assistance should contact the Student Health and Wellness Center at 940-565-2333.
In addition to providing health education information, the Meadows Center provides several other services, including:
- Condom Club program
- The Conversation Peer Health Educators
- Discounted massage therapy services
- Mean Green Screen, Free HIV screening program
- Health Education Programs
Health and Fitness Expo
The UNT Health and Fitness Expo is a collaborative program coordinated by Rec Sports and the Student Health and Wellness Center. This outdoor health fair is held every year and features free food, free health screenings, community service opportunities, information about on-campus resources, and community partners.
