This year has tested our fortitude in many ways. We have seen the dynamics of our workplace change significantly since March when COVID struck and turned our world upside down. You all have faced numerous challenges with professionalism and perseverance. Some of you have juggled child care issues, homeschooling, serving as our frontline workers, and learning to navigate working from home.
This year also has led, I think, to reflection about what and who we value and have gratitude for. I want you all to know that I am just so grateful for each and every one of you.
Whether you have seen those you work with and our students in person or through a screen, you have consistently shown genuine care and compassion for our students and each other. While I know your tank is running on empty, let’s continue to push through our challenges with grace and positivity. The end of the semester is just around the corner.
While I know Thanksgiving will look and feel different for us all, I hope you all find a way to celebrate and relax and are surrounded by good vibes, good people, and good food.
Happy Thanksgiving to you all!
