Student Employment Orientation

Hourly Student Employee Orientation – Mandatory for all new-hires 

The Hourly Student Employee Orientation is now available online. As per policy 05.025 Employment of Students for Hourly Positions, “Hourly Student Employees must attend Hourly Student Employment Orientation within the first 30 days of employment. Training will include, but is not limited to, UNT policies on ethics, FERPA, nondiscrimination and sexual harassment, sexual assault, applicable employee-related insurance programs, and all other policies referenced in this policy.”

All hourly student employees hired in January 2017 or later must complete orientation within 30 days of employment and achieve 100% on the skills assessment to receive a certificate of completion. Supervisors and student employees should retain a signed copy of the Certificate of Completion for their records.  The orientation takes approximately 30-45 minutes to complete.
