Kick off the year with purpose, connection and leadership growth. The Greek Leaders
Retreat begins with the new academic year and is an opportunity for council officers
and chapter presidents to further develop as leaders.
A Snapshot of What You’ll Gain from the Experience
- Build community across Councils.
- Strengthen community engagement.
- Identify resources that can support you in their role.
- Enhance leadership competencies.
Who Has to Be There?
All sorority and fraternity chapter presidents and IFC, MGC, NPHC, and Panhellenic
council executive members.
- Alternates can replace chapter presidents, if they are approved by council advisor
and are currently members of the executive board.
- Every chapter is required to have one approved delegate from the chapter. The chapter
will lose Standards of Excellence points for not being in attendance.
- If a representative confirms their attendance and then does not attend the Greek Leadership
Summit, there will be a financial obligation the council/chapter will be responsible
for.
- All attendance questions need to be addressed with Melissa McGuire, Associate Vice President for Student Affairs (and interim Director of Fraternity
and Sorority Life).

Come ready to ask questions about things you may know but also be ready to ask questions
about things you learn while at the retreat.
