Berenice graduated from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG) with her Master of Education in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education in 2021. She started as a survivor advocate graduate assistant for UNCG and continued her work in the anti-violence field as a victim advocate for the university upon graduation. Berenice is a proud Texas native and has a passion to support all survivors and LGBTQIA+ survivors. Her goal is to always create and foster an environment for all survivors to feel seen, heard, and understood regardless of their background. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her family, her cat or watching Bob’s Burgers.
