Esther is a Canadian-born, Texas-raised Ghanaian and two-time graduate from UNT. She earned her Bachelors degree in Psychology before pursuing a Masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, and has worked in a variety of departments across campus including UNT Housing, UNT International, and Academic Advising. She is continually inspired by the resilience, creativity, and determination of UNT students and feels privileged to provide tangible support and advocacy to student survivors of sexual or relational violence, trauma, harassment, or stalking. When she’s not in the office, you can find Esther baking something beautiful and delicious, assembling Blessing Bags to support those in the community who are experiencing homelessness, or packing her polka-dot bags for an international or domestic adventure!
