Dr. Maureen “Moe” McGuinness leads the Dean of Students office and provides administrative supervision for the DOS Intervention Team, Conduct and Community Standards, UNT Food Pantry Presented by Kroger, Student Legal Services, the We Mean Green Fund, Survivor Advocacy and the RISE Center. Dr. Moe, as her students call her, is also a Deputy Title IX Coordinator and the chair of the UNT CARE Team and Clery team. Dr Moe began her tenure as Dean of Students in 2011 but has worked at the University North Texas since 1997 as a hall director in College Inn, in central housing and as Dean of Students. Dr. Moe received her B.A. in Communications from John Carroll University, a Master’s in Counseling and Higher Education from the University of North Texas and her Doctorate in Higher Education from the University of North Texas. Dr Moe’s passions are helping students overcome obstacles, the Mean Green, Texas Rangers, sunsets on Lake Erie and her three “adult” kids who have grown up on the UNT Campus. You can reach Dr. Moe at
