Plamedi was born in Kinshasa, DR Congo located in the heart of Africa. Plamedi and his family moved to the United States as refugees when he was close to a year old. He was raised in Euless, Texas and would eventually go to high school at Grapevine High School where he graduated in 2017. Plamedi is pursuing a B.A in Psychology and aims to work in education. In his time here at UNT, Plamedi has been actively involved in various programs and organizations including MARTIAL Eagles, The Presidential Men, and Black Student Union to just name a few. In his free time, Plamedi loves working out, reading, listening to music and podcasts, and playing sports. Plamedi is very passionate about cultures and traveling, he is intrigued by how much this world has to offer and is happiest when he gets to experience new places.
