About Senior Day

Congratulations! As you complete your junior year of high school, we invite you to an overnight experience with us at the University of North Texas.

Senior Day is an event created to help rising High School Seniors get first hand experience as a college student on our campus, meet future classmates, and get immersed in UNT tradition.

Registration for Senior Day will be available in Spring 2024.

Highlights of Senior Day: 
  • Stay on campus overnight in a residence hall
  • Eat at a campus dining hall
  • Small Group conversations with an orientation leader 
  • Hear from current UNT students and ask questions and learn about their experience
  • Get important information from campus partners about the best ways to prepare for the college experience

Schedule at a Glance

You must be pre-registered for Senior Day to participate in the program. Participants are required to attend all events and will be escorted by a small group leader throughout the program.

Orientation Check-In (8:00 a.m. - 9:00 a.m.) at Kerr Hall (1413 Maple Street) Breakfast
Program Welcome Small Group Meetings
Parent & Family Session (10:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m.) - optional for guests dropping off students for Senior Day Student Success Sessions
Small Group Meetings Lunch
Mock Lecture Admissions Presentation
Career Coach Presentation Closing Session
Dinner & Life on Campus rotation Senior Day Check Out is from 2:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
College Prep Activities  
Pizza Party  
Packing List and Overnight Accommodations

All Senior Day participants are expected to stay overnight in the assigned residence hall. Students needing special accommodations should contact the Senior Day team prior to the program.

Senior Day Refund Policy

Refunds will not be processed after 2 weeks before the event.
