Campus Connect is an experientially based training designed to enhance participant’s  knowledge, awareness, and skills concerning college student suicide. Campus Connect  aims to increase knowledge about suicide statistics, risk and protective factors, warning  signs, and referral resources; to increase empathic listening skills, communication skills,  and the ability to ask individuals if they are thinking about suicide; and to increase self- awareness concerning the potential emotional reactions gatekeepers may experience  when interacting with students in crisis.

Stress—we're all feeling it. This 45-minute workshop focuses on providing a variety of stress management strategies you can add to your stress management toolkit.

Invite CTS to speak at your next department meeting, retreat, or event. Meeting with a Counseling and Testing Staff member is a great way to learn about our services and find ways to promote wellness amongst faculty, staff, and students. We are available to present on pre-planned topics (see flyer), or we can customize a presentation based on your department’s needs.

QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer): Just like CPR, QPR is an emergency response to someone in crisis and can save lives. QPR is the most widely taught Gatekeeper training in the world. *Highly recommended for all UNT Faculty and Staff

Anxiety in Uncertainty: Join us for a chance to explore the impact of ongoing uncertainty on our overall well-being and mental health. Our emphasis will be on recognizing anxiety in ourselves as well as learning strategies you can implement today to not let anxiety rule your life. 

Practical Resilience: This 30 minute, bi-weekly workshop focuses on providing practical resiliency strategies and techniques that you can implement today! 

Work-Life Balance: Work-life balance is an elusive and ever-changing concept. This session will review the individual meaning of work-life balance and focus on providing strategies you can implement today to shift your current work-life balance experience. 

Stress Management: Stress—we're all feeling it. This 45-minute workshop focuses on providing a variety of stress management strategies you can add to your stress management toolkit.
