Show your love for Mother Earth this Valentine’s Day and join the UNT community effort to keep our campus streets free of litter through a meetup cleanup partnered with Keep Denton Beautiful! Register online as a group or individual and partake in an optional litter scavenger hunt and social media challenge to recognize the importance of refusing single-use items that may become litter.
This volunteer service opportunity is available to UNT students, staff, and faculty. UNT departments and student organizations are encouraged to sign up for a litter pickup route surrounding campus as a teambuilding activity to demonstrate how UNT cares about sustainable actions. Who will you invite?
Gloves, trash bags, and recycling bags will be provided. Please dress appropriately for the weather and bring a reusable water bottle to keep hydrated. Please note it may not take the full two hours to make your assigned route litter-free!
