Holiday Meals

In Fall 2020, the UNT Food Pantry added another way to serve our students through the Holiday Meal kits.  After surveying our students, including international students who may experience food insecurity or not be able to travel home for the Thanksgiving holiday, to determine who would be in need of a free holiday meal to take home for Thanksgiving.   For Thanksgiving, we were able to provide menu options including traditional Thanksgiving favorites such as stuffing, macaroni and cheese, green bean casserole, yams, corn, and cranberry sauce. UNT Dining Services is providing pies and a choice of turkey, ham, or a vegan option to complete each holiday feast.

In December we were able to provide a winter meal kit of Spinach Provolone Chicken Roulade, Cranberry Apple Pork Roulade, or Vegan Tamales; Macaroni & Cheese or Quinoa/Rice; Mashed Potatoes & Brown Gravy or Yams; Canned Corn, Hot cocoa, or apple cider packets and a  Dozen sugar cookies.

Please watch our homepage for announcements each semester about upcoming Holiday Meal kits.
