Students admitted to UNT can elect to have their orientation fee deferred to their student account for payment. This option allows students the ability to sign up for orientation immediately, agreeing to pay the orientation fee when their tuition and fees posts to their student account for the semester. Choosing this option, your orientation fee is only deferred and not paid. After submitting this form, you are responsible for the payment of the fee by the designated deadline, regardless of whether your financial aid covers this specific charge.
Orientation Fee Deferment Requests are due prior to registering for orientation. Please allow 5 business days for your request to be processed.
Please note: students must be admitted in a current, upcoming semester to register for an orientation respective to that semester.
By submitting this form, I authorize the office of Orientation and Transition Programs at the University of North Texas to post the orientation fee to my student account. I understand that by choosing this option, my fees are only deferred and not paid. In addition, I understand that some types of financial aid can only be used to pay for certain charges. Therefore, I understand that it is my responsibility to pay for outstanding charges on my student account should my financial aid not cover the orientation fee. Payment of the orientation fee is due by the first class day of the semester. Lastly, I understand that it is my responsibility to fulfill all of the requirements associated with my financial aid award and student accounting procedures.
Electing to pay with a fee deferment is considered a form of payment for orientation. The orientation fee is nonrefundable, including fee deferments.
