The UNT Student Money Management Center ranked #5 in LendEDU’s annual Top 50 Financial Aid Counseling Programs report. More than 1,000 colleges and universities were analyzed based on LendEDU’s unique scoring system. Not only did UNT make the top 5, but it was the only Texas-affiliated campus to make the list.

“This recognition demonstrates the power of partnerships between our center and our incredibly talented Financial Aid colleagues,” said SMMC Director Paul Goebel. “While our goal is to help UNT students attain greater financial success, being recognized nationally for our efforts is an incredible feeling.”

The Student Money Management Center helps student learn how to manage the financial realities they will face as students and graduates. The center offers countless educational opportunities every semester and provides personal financial coaching sessions in which students lead the discussion on personal financial topics and concerns relating to their lives.
