Join us in standing together during Sexual Assault Awareness Month, because every voice, every action, and every person matters.

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month (SAAM), a time to raise awareness, foster conversations, and take action to support survivors. This year, departments and programs across the campus are working together to educate, engage, and empower our community. We invite you to join us in making a difference.

Take Action: SAAM Day of Action & Together We Act, UNiTed We Change

Start the month by showing your support during the SAAM Day of Action, April 1. Wear teal, the color of sexual violence prevention, and visit our tabling event from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Union South Lawn to learn more about resources and ways to get involved.

April 9, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the Union North Lawn, join us for Together We Act, UNiTed We Change. This event brings our community together to take a stand against sexual violence and support survivors.

Why It Matters

SAAM is more than just a month, it’s a movement. By participating in these events, you’re helping to create a culture of consent, respect and support at UNT.
