Eagle Camp is a 2-day, overnight, off-campus experience created to welcome new students to the UNT family by providing them with an opportunity to connect with friends and learn more about UNT spirit and tradition in a fun, upbeat environment. Eagle Camp is intended for new students who will be entering UNT in the fall semester and will take place Friday, September 20 – Saturday, September 21st at Camp Copass in Denton, Texas.
Camp North Texas is a 2-day, overnight, off-campus experience that serves the same purpose as Eagle Camp but is intended for students planning to enter UNT at the start of the spring semester. Camp North Texas will take place in January at Camp Copass in Denton, Texas.
NOTE: Eagle Camp is NOT Freshman Orientation
Eagle Camp and Camp North Texas offer students a fun opportunity to connect with fellow incoming students, establish lasting friendships and learn about life at UNT from current student leaders.
Students who attend camp are more likely to become involved in student organizations and serve in leadership positions throughout their time at UNT. At camp, exceptional student leaders and staff encourage and motivate campers to find their fit on campus and contribute their time and talent in making a difference at UNT.
Camp offers a variety of fun activities and events that promote an understanding and appreciation for UNT spirit and traditions
