Parent Programs at UNT was established to enhance the college experience for both parents and students and help build sustaining relationships between parents and UNT. Our goal is to provide parents and families with information to help better understand their student’s life at UNT. We believe partnering with family members supports student success. Family Weekend is the first big event of the year for students and their families. A variety of activities make Family Weekend a special time for students to share their new environment with friends, parents, and family members. Whether you live near or far, we want you to join your UNT family for a weekend of fun!
Parent & Family Orientation is a special program that runs concurrently with the student orientation program. The program is optional but highly encouraged. Through this program, parents have the opportunity to learn about the many offices, services, academic programs UNT has to offer.
