About Mean Green Fling
Mean Green Fling is the back-to-school kickoff event hosted by Student Activities! 2018 will mark the 20th year of this exciting event! Each year, more than 37,000 students are invited to attend Mean Green Fling, which will take place immediately following New Student Convocation. To welcome students back to campus, there will be more than 300 student organizations, campus departments, and off-campus sponsors at this event. Attendance is expected to reach over 8,500.
What is Mean Green Fling:
An opportunity to say farewell to summer and hello to a new school year, by gaining connections with multiple clubs and businesses that are guaranteed to make UNT and Denton feel like home!
Where is Mean Green Fling:
Mean Green Fling will be held at the University Union and surrounding areas, including the Library Mall, South Lawn, and North Green
When is Mean Green Fling:
August 22, 2018 from 5:00-7:00pm
