Date: March 25-26, 2021
University Day, first held May 10, 1961, marks the day that North Texas State College became North Texas State University. This year, we're celebrating 60 years as a university in multiple ways. From a 1961 movie to Stuff-A-Scrappy and more, students can celebrate for FREE with current UNT ID. Additionally, in lieu of the University Day Picnic, off-campus students (those who do not have a meal plan) can come to Student Activities in Union 345 from 8-5pm the week of March 22 to pick up a meal ticket for any dining hall on campus, to be used the week of March 22. Tickets are limited, and first-come first serve. Only one ticket per student. Finally, check out our Spotify playlist with the hits from 1961 including songs from 2 UNT alumni.
Don't have a meal plan? Stop by the Student Activities Office in Union 345 from 8-5pm any time this week to pick up a meal ticket good for one free meal at any dining hall on campus. Limit 1 per student ID.
