9/11/19 - The first session of the 53rd Student Senate of the University of North Texas.
9/18/19 Approved Minutes The Fair Disciplinary Action for Drug Policy Violations (F2019 R1) was questioned and tabled until further revisions. 8 internal committees were passed and members/officers will be appointed in upcoming sessions.
9/25/19 Approve Minutes All Judicial appointees were confirmed by the Senate. The Fair Disciplinary Action for Drug Policy Violations (F2019 R1) was tabled until another version is presented. Senators were placed into their internal committees.
10/2/19 Approved Minutes UNT departments presented including Rec Sports and Homecoming Crew. Judicial Nominees Mason Cantrell and Lazayvion Hammick were approved by unanimous consent. The Senate Code of Conduct was presented, discussed, and will be voted on next session.
10/9/19 Approved Minutes The Senate Code of Conduct was amended and passed. Senator Angie gave a report regarding the imminent domain and Senator Victory gave a report regarding the status of the College of Education. Senate had breakout sessions to work on upcoming legislation
10/16/19 Approved Minutes Heather Rich, Ass. Dir. for Healthcare Administration from the Student Health and Wellness Center presented & answered questions regarding the new insurance system. Senate appointee Melissa Rwehumbiza and Supreme Court appointee Michael Kabtimer were approved. Gender Inclusive Syllabi Resolution (F2019 R2) and the Eminent Domain Survey Proposal (F2019 R3) were tabled for the next session.
 
10/23/19 Approved Minutes The Gender Inclusive Syllabi Resolution (F2019 R2) was read and questioned. F2019 R3 was tabled for the next session. Senators met with their delegation and presented college reports.
10/30/19 Approved Minutes The Gender Inclusive Language Syllabi Resolution (F2019 R2) was discussed and passed. F2019 R3 was tabled for the next session. Senators met with their delegation and presented college reports.
11/6/19 Approved Minutes Graduate Student Council President, Tiffany Miller, discussed potential collaborations. Peter Su (College of Education), Michael Luecke (CLASS), and Tara Williams (College of Science) were approved for appointment to the Senate. The Eminent Domain Survey Proposal (F2019 R3), DACA & Undocumented Resource Center (F2019 R4), and Harm Reduction Responses to Drug Policy Violations (F2019 R5) were read and questioned.
11/13/19 Approved Minutes The following resolutions were passed by 22-0: Harm Reduction Responses to Drug Policy Violations (F2019 R5), Eminent Domain Survey Proposal (F2019 R3), DACA/Undocumented Resource Center (F2018 R4), Student Senate Support for Demands Resolution (F2019 R6). Article X, Section 3: Public Information Accessibility (F2019 B1) and Mental Health Resources in Syllabi (F2019 R7) were read and questioned. Senatorial appointees Alyissa Sanders (Engineering), Detavious Hill (CLASS), and Ryene Sanders (CVAD) were approved.
11/20/19 Approved Minutes Article X, Section 3: Public Information Accessibility (F2019 B1) and Mental Health Resources in Syllabi (F2019 R7) were approved. Pronoun Inclusive Identification Materials at McConnell Hall (F2019 R8) was read, questioned, placed in emergency status, discussed, and passed.
