About Emergency Aid Loans

Emergency financial aid for college students can include loans, grants, awards, food pantries, clothing closets, and possibly emergency housing. The center provides emergency loans through the EAGLE SUPPORT PROGRAM. The program can help when students are facing emergencies. Situations such as needing textbooks and course materials, rent and bills assistance, out-of-pocket travel expenses to attend conferences, copays and medical expenses, and other unanticipated expenses. The program also offers student veterans and dependents with a special loan that provides them with a line of credit at the University Barnes & Noble bookstore. The program can also help students address the inability to pay the first payment of their installment plan (past due balance) with the University or an unpaid balance after a semester ends (prior term balance).
