What attracted you to UNT?

“Its diverse community and welcoming environment.”

What's an identity you're proud to share with others at UNT?

“I'm a proud first generation student.”

How have you gotten involved on campus?

“I am the education and awareness coordinator for University Program Council at UNT, a 2023-24 orientation leader, a part of 2023 homecoming crew serving as one of the scrappy games coordinators, and I am a student advisory board member at the UNT first gen success center.”

What advice would you give a student who is looking to make the most out of their college experience?

"Get involved on campus, grab all the opportunities, and don't be afraid to get out of the bubble and enjoy the college life."

How has your UNT experience been so far?

“My experience at UNT has been amazing. I am very involved on campus which has helped me create a community and meet new people. UNT feels like home and people here feel like family.”

Fun fact about you?

"I am the only person in my family to pursue undergrad here in the United States."

What are your plans after graduating from UNT?

"I am actively looking for internships related to public health and also plan to attend grad school."
