In an effort to support interdisciplinary and creative sustainability on campus, a student-led proposal was approved by the WMGF Committee to create an icon of sustainability on campus! Inspired by UNT’s own Community Garden, the “gardenblock” sculpture provides a shelter and gathering place for students and serves as a catalyst for forming connections that are centered on a shared goal of sustainability across campus.
