The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification program is a great way for buildings on UNT’s campus to be benchmarked for their contribution to campus-wide sustainability initiatives. The certification of buildings across campus will provide data, motivation, and direction for continued improvement to future and current buildings at UNT. The buildings currently being analyzed are Chestnut Hall, Environmental Education, Science and Technology, Gateway Center, Performing Arts Center, and Radio, TV, Film and Performing Arts.
