The LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Certification Program is a way for buildings on UNT's campus to be benchmarked for their contribution to campus-wide sustainability initiatives. The certification of buildings across campus providesgreen "US Green Building Council" certified logo with leaves in the middle data, motivation, and direction for the continued improvement of future and current buildings at UNT. The buildings analyzed through this We Mean Green Fund project include Chestnut Hall, Environmental Education, Science and Technology, Gateway Center, Performing Arts Center, and Radio, TV, Film & Performing Arts. This project was proposed in the spring of 2018 with the support of UNT Facilities. It was implemented during the 2018 - 2019 fiscal year.
