Alexa Bilich

What does your role entail/what do you do: I serve as the Service Coordinator in the Center for Leadership and Service. In my role I help coordinate and plan a variety of leadership and service events, as well as I serve as the Advisor to two student organizations, Eaglethon and The National Society of Leadership and Success! Some of the events I plan include: VolUNTeer Fair, Make a Difference Day, Eaglethon Dance Marathon, UNT Chapter of NSLS, and Cesar Chavez Day of Action.

What is your favorite part about working at UNT: My favorite part about working at UNT is my students! I have the opportunity to work with a variety of students in my role from advising two student organizations, to hosting days of service on campus and I absolutely love getting to see the impact that they create at UNT and how they take what they have learned through our office into life beyond UNT!

How have UNT students impacted your life: In our office we often talk about our “why” and define why we are passionate about the work that we do. My students are my why. We spend a lot of time with our students and getting to be alongside them to see how they develop and grow into amazing leaders is by far is one of my favorite things to witness since working at UNT!

Fun fact about you: I have recently become an avid reader and I have read a total of 22 books since January of this year!

What are you proud to share with others at UNT: Fall is my favorite time of year and I am a Halloween fanatic!
