Corrine French

Department: Orientation and Transition Programs
 

Bio: Corinne received a Bachelor's of Science degree in Family Sciences from Texas Woman's University and a Master's Degree in Higher Education from UNT. She works with high school students as they transition to the University and serves as the advisor for the UNT HerCampus student organization. French also serves as Vice President of the Valley View ISD Board of Education, the executive board of the North Texas Area Association of School Boards (NTAASB), and the Texas Association of School Boards (TASB). She enjoys thrift-shopping, scrapbooking, and gardening.

Corinne coordinates district involvement with the Eagle Advantage Program, plan on-campus transition programs for high school juniors and seniors (Senior Year Experience), and facilitates college transition workshops. Some examples are Senior Day, Senior Advantage Day and Junior Day. “It is one of the coolest jobs on campus!”
