What are you proud to share with others at UNT: I am proud to be First-Generation and DACA recipient. Through all the challenges that come with being the first person in your family to graduate, education has been a pillar of hope and development that I would not give up.
What does your role entail/what do you do: I serve as a Coordinator in the Center for Fraternity and Sorority Life. My primary role is to serve as the primary advisor for the 12 fraternities and sororities in the Multicultural Greek Council and the 12 fraternities in the Interfraternity Council. I work with these groups to ensure that they are operating to their fullest potential and are creating an experience that is desirable to the FSL and UNT community!
What is your favorite part about working at UNT: I love the fact that I get the opportunity to give back to a community and institution that gave so much to me while I was an undergraduate student. It is safe to say that I would not be the person that I am today, if not for the experiences that UNT gave me.
How have UNT students impacted your life: The students at UNT are my #1 priority as a student affairs professional. These students push me to be a better professional through their passion and dedication to their undergraduate experience.
Fun fact about you: I love binge-watching TV shows. In the past two years, I have started and finished several series. Some of my favorites have been Ugly Betty, Desperate Housewives, Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and How to Get Away with Murder!
