Jayla

Jayla is from Houston, Texas, and came to Denton in 2022 to pursue a Bachelor’s degree in Media Arts. She is the President of Women in Cinema, a club dedicated to empowering and educating students about women in the film industry, and the Vice President of the Black Film Club, which is committed to providing an artistic voice to black students at UNT. When Jayla is not in class or at work, you can find her hanging out with friends and family or reading a good book.
