Who are these events for?

The events listed below are events that are tailored for the unique experiences students have as commuter students, non-traditional students, or student parents. Our events are centered around community, academic development, career development, awareness of resources here on campus and around the Denton & DFW area, and just having some fun along the way! 

Can anyone attend these events?

Yes! Any student is welcome to any and all events hosted by the Eagle Engagement Center! We are excited to have any student interested in our events join us and meet our team. 

What kind of events do we host? 

The Eagle Engagement Center is dedicated to creating a variety of events that aim to best fit your schedule and provide many opportunities for you to connect. Our events take place in-person at the Denton Main Campus, Discovery Park, and UNT Frisco Landing, as well as online sessions through Zoom in the evenings. We also have family-friendly events to have student parents participate in events with their families. 

Are these all the events the EEC is hosting?

Fall Semester

Get to Know the Eagle Engagement Center
The EEC hosts an online session event year during UNT's First Flight Week! Join us to learn about our office, resources, and services we provide to all students every year!

Campus & Community Resource Fair
Each Fall semester, we host our Campus & Community Resource Fair. Come meet with on-campus and community resources available to each students at UNT and the Denton & DFW area!

Each month stop by our table, say hi, and grab snacks for the road as you go to class, work, or anything else! This event is hosted at UNT Denton, Discovery Park, and Frisco Landing.

Looking to find your community and hangout space? Join us this semester for our Non-Trad Student Hangout days. Study, play games, and make connections with other non-traditional students here at UNT!

 

Spring Semester

Volunteer Fair
Join us in the spring semester for our Volunteer Fair! If you're looking to explore volunteer opportunites, you can visit with on-campus and community members with plenty of various experiences for you to participate in.

February 15th-17th stop by any of our 3 events to celebrate our commuter students here at UNT! Whether you live 45 minutes away or a few blocks from campus, we are here to celebrate you and all the effort you put in to your student experience.

Student Parent Spring Break
Staying home during spring break? Want to do something fun as a family? Come join the EEC for Student Parent Spring Break March 8th-10th! We will have a family-friendly event each day to participate together in and enjoy family time.
