Founder's Day is the celebration of UNT's birthday! On September 16, 1890, President Joshua C. Chilton founded the Texas Normal College and Teacher Training Institute, which we now know as the University of North Texas. This year marks the University of North Texas' 133rd birthday and we're so excited to celebrate! Join us for free cupcakes and a historical look at UNT through the years!
