Campus Impact Project: Neurodiversity Awareness Day—a day to celebrate neurodivergent students, and inform the UNT community about neurodiversity through workshops and presentations
Dylan Garcia is a senior music education major with a concentration in violin at UNT. As a second-generation college student and recipient of the Golden Eagle Award, he is recognized for his ambition and university pride. Since 2022, Dylan has served as Internal Affairs Chair for the Student Alumni Ambassadors, Director of Leadership and Development for North Texas 40, and as a member of the President's Student Advisory Committee and Undergraduate Student Digital Strategy Advisory Board. He has completed three terms as College of Music Senator and served as Sergeant-at-Arms for the Student Government Association. He co-authored and presented his autobiographical research, "Dylan's Story: Navigating Preservice Music Education as a Neurodivergent Student," at the 2025 Texas Music Educators Association Convention. A proud UNT student, Dylan is always ready to represent his university and looks forward to representing the Student Alumni Ambassadors with pride.

Faith Falana is a Pre-Dental senior majoring in Biology with a Chemistry and Sociology minor in Honors College. If there’s one thing about Faith, she loves fun! From her first year to her final semesters at UNT, she has had fun-filled experiences fueled by friendships. Faith’s love for the Mean Green campus is shown through her involvement with on-campus programs and her desire to cultivate a sense of belonging in others.As a 3rd-year Resident Assistant at Clark Hall, she loves to guide her residents on their journeys at the university while serving as Vice-President of the Pre-Dental Society, Student Alumni Association Ambassador, and a member of North Texas 40 Foundation. Faith loves to meet new people and has been involved on campus since her freshman year through organizations such as the University Program Council, Student Government Association as a College of Science Senator, Honors College Programming Council, Children’s Oral Health Advocacy Project, Magical Moment’s Foundation, and many more.Her love and passion for the well-being of others is not only reflected on campus, but in healthcare as well.  With a calling to serve, she’s going to cook!

Campus Impact Project: Create a dedicated space for trial practice, moot court competitions, and legal education at UNT.
Grace D. Kadia is a proud senior at the University of North Texas who transformed the challenge of transferring into a story of resilience, determination, and leadership. Arriving at UNT and often feeling behind, Grace refused to let that define her experience. She threw herself into campus life, quickly building connections, pursuing opportunities, and leaving a lasting impact on the university she now calls home.She currently serves as President of the National Black Law Students Association, Chair of Membership and Recruitment for the Student Alumni Ambassadors, and a distinguished member of President Keller’s Student Advisory Board. In previous years, Grace also held leadership roles with the Student Government Association and the UNT Honors College, experiences that strengthened her voice as a leader and her commitment to uplifting the Mean Green community.Beyond her leadership roles, Grace has presented research on self-segregation in Black communities at national conferences in New York and Hawai’i, proudly representing UNT on a broader stage. Balancing a 3.8 GPA with her passion for service, Grace plans to pursue law and politics after graduation. She is honored to represent her UNT family on the Homecoming Court and celebrate the university that welcomed her, challenged her, and helped her thrive.

Campus Impact Project: Misting tents and big fans for outdoor student org events to keep students cool and safe in the Texas heat.
Jay, a current senior on campus, is a well-rounded student who exemplifies all the aspects you would want in a UNT Student. As a double major, a Texas Leadership Scholar, and a member of the Honors College, Sigma Delta Pi Spanish Honor Society, and Order of Omega, Jay demonstrates exceptional academic prowess as a UNT student. His leadership and drive for service is undeniable, having been in numerous student-serving organizations across campus, as well as holding various positions and accolades within these organizations. Currently, he is active in 9 student orgs where he holds numerous positions, including a director in the North Texas 40 Foundation and a VP of Omega Delta Phi Fraternity, Inc., where they recently won chapter of the year across the nation. Jay also holds the Mean Green spirit true to him, having marched and played in the Green Brigade at various sporting events, always cheering and repping his Mean Green spirit everywhere he goes. After graduation, Jay aspires to go to grad school, where he will be working towards the medical field, hoping to give back and help out our communities of North Texas, carrying forward a true Mean Green legacy.

Campus Impact Project: Create a campus-wide event that addresses sexual assault awareness and its deep impact on mental health
Lauren is a Junior here at the University of North Texas, pursuing a Bachelors of Business Administration in Human Resource Management degree. She hopes to pursue a career as a HR Generalist post-college. Lauren is an active member in Kappa Kappa Gamma on campus where she has held various leadership positions, currently serving as the Vice President of Standards. Along with her sorority, she is also a member of Order of Omega, a Greek Honor society representing the top 3% of UNT's FSL members. Along with her extensive campus involvement, Lauren is a member of a local church where she serves and mentors middle and high school students as they grow their relationship with Jesus Christ. She is passionate about her faith, and making her Savior's name and power known to all. In her free time, you can catch Lauren exploring new activities with friends, cooking fun recipes, or DIYing a current project.

Amy-Mattea Nossal is a fourth-year studying Communication Studies and Jewish Studies at the University of North Texas. Passionate about strong women and mental health awareness, she is actively involved in the Kappa Kappa Gamma sorority and has served in a Vice President role twice. She is also a member of Hillel and Students Supporting Israel, where she was a charter member and former President. She is currently employed by B’nai Brith Youth Organization, where she works with the Dallas Jewish youth community.On campus, she is committed to fostering productive conversation through our differences and learning how to effectively communicate with individuals of any background, identity, or culture. She prides herself on open-mindedness and the ability to find common ground and cultivate friendship no matter how opposed they may seem.Beyond academics, Mattea enjoys thrifting, creating artwork, and attending concerts, placing an emphasis on her well-being and exploration of self. She is also an active individual who coaches and plays in various intramural sports at UNT every year. Looking ahead, Mattea will be studying abroad in Barcelona, Spain, this Spring, and post-graduation will be seeking to continue making an impact on her community working with Jewish teens and young adults.

Campus Impact Project: Legacy Garden is an official rock garden for students, faculty, and alumni to paint and plant their UNT legacy forever.
Matthew is a junior marketing major from The Woodlands, Texas, driven by a passion for service, leadership, and academic excellence. Throughout his time at the University of North Texas, he has demonstrated a strong commitment to campus involvement, serving twice as an Orientation Leader and holding leadership roles in organizations such as the Alpha Lambda Delta Honor Society, First Year Programs, First in Business Program, Filipino Student Association, Student Government Association, and The North Texas Forty Student Foundation. Matthew thrives on creating meaningful experiences through content creation and media, aiming to leave lasting impressions that others can share and enjoy. He aspires to build a career in brand strategy and digital marketing, working with companies that engage broad, diverse audiences. Off-campus, Matthew enjoys photography, thrifting, running, going on adventures with friends, and drinking a crisp Celsius. UNT has provided him with a space to explore his passions, form lasting relationships, and inspire others to pursue their goals with confidence and purpose.

Campus Impact Project: Mean Green Meal Kits will provide 800 meal kits through the UNT Food Pantry to fight student hunger on campus.
Meliyah Markley is a senior from Austin, Texas, majoring in Nonprofit Leadership studies with a minor in Marketing. Meliyah developed an early interest in community and helping others. This would later define her career path and the contributions she has made to the UNT campus. After starting college, she began immersing herself in campus life, quickly establishing a reputation for her dedication to improving the community. Meliyah is best known as the Vice President of the Black Student Union. Here at UNT, she has served as the Director of Community Service for multiple executive boards. She has been inducted into the most illustrious sorority, awarded a networking fellowship, and had the honor of assisting in the initiation of members into her sorority. Beyond accolades and titles on campus, Meliyah has managed to secure a job in her field and balances being a full-time student with a job. This balance of dedication to her studies and commitment to her roles on campus reflects the depth of her character. Currently, Meliyah is preparing to apply to the Public Administration Masters program here at UNT! Mean Green pride is dear to Meliyah, and she tries to embody that same spirit in anything she pursues.

Campus Impact Project: Creating a program to spread awareness about mental health in college students and how to be prepared during and after college.
Paige is a 19 year old junior pursuing her degree in Public Health while also double minoring in Emergency Administration and Planning & Human Development and Family Sciences. She plans to pursue her Masters degree in Physician Assistant Studies and work as a physician assistant. Within her 3 years at the university, she has grown to be more passionate about working within her community, building a solid career foundation, and being an asset of encouragement & leadership for others. In addition, Paige has served on the UNT Chapter of the National Society of Leadership and Success, as Vice President and Community Service Chair 2024-2025, and currently serves as President for the 2025-2026 term. Since her start at UNT, Paige, has maintained her responsibilities in organizations, working for UNT Housing, and status of the dean's list.

Campus Impact Project: Providing the First Generation Success Center with a supply closet.
Raquel Arroyo is a senior pursuing her Bachelors and Masters of Science in Taxation and Data Analytics here at the University of North Texas. Raquel is currently serving as President of the Professional Leadership Program, where she works with students and mentors to foster student’s professional success. Raquel is also highly involved with Beta Alpha Psi, where she connects with students within her degree program and deepens her network in the accounting profession. She also is an active member of NT40 and Money Club. Raquel has previously served as the First Generation Representative on the President’s Student Advisory Committee, a Mentor with ACCESS Peer Mentoring, a Student Assistant with First Generation Success Center, and a member of UNT Green Jackets. She was previously featured as UNT’s North Texan Star Student. Upon graduation, Raquel hopes to pursue an ambition career in a large accounting firm. As a first gen student, Raquel has an infinity for advocating for and mentoring her peers. She finds helping others achieve their goals to be fulfilling and hopes to carry on a legacy of giving back. In her spare time, Raquel enjoys reading, spending time with family, being outdoors, and going to the gym.
