Make a Difference Day is our recognized day of service celebrated by the UNT community each Fall. Students, faculty, staff, alumni, and student organizations are all welcome to participate.

Register to participate

Register your student organization or group to participate in Make A Difference Day! If you are a student, faculty, staff, or alumni who is not a member of a student organization, register by clicking on the Individual button. 

All student organizations/groups who register must submit a roster of participants to guarantee a site assignment.

Student Organizations that participate in Make A Difference Day will receive 5 Talons Up! points.

Where are Make A Difference Day sites located?

Sites are located in the Denton County area and on-campus. 

Is transportation provided?

Participants are responsible for their own transportation getting to and from the site. You can ask others going to your site for options if you need a ride.

Is there specific attire?
Your site may require specific attire (e.g. closed-toe shoes). Any specific attire will be communicated in advance.
What do I need to bring day of the event?
Bring your phone to scan the QR code to check in on site. If you are outdoors, you may need a water bottle, sunscreen, hat, or sunglasses. Other specific needs for your site will be provided by the community partner at the site.
