WHY STUDENT ACTIVITIES?

Student Activities promotes a sense of community and loyalty to the university, while serving to enhance the social, intellectual and developmental growth of students as individuals or as members of organizations. By engaging members of the university community in collaborative efforts, Student Activities nurtures citizenship, leadership and community, while striving to assist in the holistic development of students.

Our annual events, including Mean Green Fling and Homecoming, along with our work with the North Texas Spirit program, provide great opportunities for you to jump into UNT spirit and traditions. First Flight: Get Involved!

Looking to get involved? Join us for Get Involved! to learn about the hundreds of student organizations and other co-curricular activities that UNT has to offer.

Get Involved! will be held live and in-person on August 12 and August 13 at 3pm in the Business Leadership Building (BLB) 015. Those in attendance will receive a First Flight code at that time.

Can't make it to the live session? Check out the session recording starting on August 14 at 12pm through August 19 at 11:59pm.

  • All new incoming freshmen (Fall 2024) are already enrolled in the First Flight Canvas course and can access the Get Involved recording by logging in with their EUID and password.
  • All other students can self-enroll in the First Flight course here, logging in with their EUID and password, and clicking "Enroll in Course."

Once in the course, click on "My Life" and then "Get Involved! (virtual)." Watch the video and then complete the quiz. Those participating in First Flight will receive credit upon quiz completion, and cannot receive First Flight credit for both the live and recorded options.
