The AIM Portal will send Letters of Accommodation to instructors directly from the AIM system. Students should not need to send accommodation letters by PDF.
Please remember that once Letters of Accommodation have been sent to instructors, students should set-up a time to meet with their instructors so they can discuss how the accommodations will be implemented in that specific course/program and to talk through any specific questions or arrangements.
The following communication templates are offered to support students in initiating these conversations. These are only templates and suggestions. Students are not required to use the specific emails or language below. Information provided in brackets [] is for the student's information only and should be removed prior to sending the email.
- Class with needed Exam Accommodations
- Class without Exam Accommodations
- Class with Modification of Course Attendance Policy Accommodations
- Class with Occasional Extension of Due Dates Accommodations
- Class with Communication Access needs (ASL Interpreter, CART Provider, or FM Loop)
