Quortina Phipps

Currently serving as the Educational Coordinator at UNT'S High School Career Connect, my passion is to help students reach their full potential through academic and career preparation. Prior to my current position, I worked at UNT as an Academic Advisor for the College of Information Sciences, as well as a Supervisor for the Undergraduate Admissions Department. Originally from Memphis, Tennessee, I have been an educator for over 10 years with experiences as a Coordinator for a Quality Enhancement Plan at a private college, Student Support Manager at a proprietary educational institution, Counselor for TRIO Student Support Services, and an Elementary Music Teacher.

Education: Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a minor in Humanities from LeMoyne-Owen College, and a Master of Education degree in Educational Management from Strayer University.
