Use of amplified sound is not allowed inside the University Union in open spaces, halls, or lounges.

Outdoor amplified sound is only allowed from 11:30am–1:00pm and 5:00pm–10:00pm, in designated areas.

DESIGNATED AREAS

Per policy, the maximum level of amplified sound for outdoors events is 92 decibels. Sound levels will be regulated by the building manager through the use of a handheld sound level meter. If amplified sound policy is not followed, the event could be shut down.
