Welcome to Non-Traditional Student Appreciation Week, an annual celebration held during the first week of November! This week is dedicated to recognizing and honoring the invaluable contributions of our non-traditional students at UNT—those who are 24 or older, parents or caregivers, and those balancing full-time careers with their studies.

As we highlight the unique challenges and sacrifices these students face in pursuit of their education, we aim to foster a deeper understanding of their experiences within our campus community. Supporting non-traditional students not only enriches our university but also cultivates an inclusive environment where all students can thrive! Join us in raising awareness and appreciation for this growing population. Together, we can create a stronger sense of belonging and ensure that every student feels valued in their academic journey.

About the event: Stop by Union 382 for our Appreciation Lunch. We will providing a free lunch to the first 60 students. Meet our team and get to enjoy a meal with your Non-Trad community here at UNT!

Professional Picture Day

About the event: Join us at Discovery Park to participate in our event and sign-up to get a free professional headshot taken! Our team will be there to check-in, talk to students, and help get you a headshot to use for all your professional needs.

About the event: For our student parents, join us this evening for an online interview with UNT Librarian Madison Brents. Madison currently work at UNT as a Librarian located in Willis Library. However before that, she was a student parent herself as an undergraduate here at UNT. This event will be an interview with Madison to learn about her experience, how she navigated academics and being a parent, answer any questions you may have, and talk about her work at the UNT Libraries working with our Non-Traditional and Student Parent students.
