Become a Green Jacket 

Ready to become a Green Jacket and help make UNT a more welcoming and spirited place? Founded in 1926 by Beulah Harriss, Green Jackets are student leaders who support the Vice President of Student Affairs and promote UNT spirit. They've shown strong leadership on and off campus for almost 100 years.

Why Join?

Membership Requirements

To apply, you must: 

  • Have at least a 3.0 GPA
  • Complete 30 credit hours (by end of Spring semester)
  • Be in good academic and conduct standing
  • Be ready to serve at least two full semesters, ideally through graduation
  • Support UNT’s values and traditions
  • Show evidence of Service, Leadership, and Scholarship
