2026 will mark the 28th year of Mean Green Fling! Each year approximately 7,000 Students and 300+ student organizations, campus departments, and off-campus sponsors gather to welcome students back to campus.

Who is invited to Mean Green Fling?

All students enrolled at UNT for Fall 2026! 

Check In and Enter to Win Prizes

Check in, by either cardswiping at a station or scanning the QR code and entering your UNT credentials, and you will be entered into a random drawing to win 1 of 4 $50 Dining Flex!

Additionally, if you check in, you'll receive a post-event survey to your my.unt.edu email, asking for your feedback. Respondents will be entered to win more great prizes. Keep an eye out for the survey from UNT Student Activities.

Involvement on Demand!

With thousands of students and hundreds of student organizations in attendance, it can be overwhelming to find connections at Mean Green Fling. That’s why we’re offering Involvement on Demand appointments! Through this service, we’ll help you find the student orgs present at the event that fit your interests! Participants will receive a special gift and be entered to win a mini projector! Schedule an appointment by August 10 at noon. If we have openings, you may drop in for an IOD appointment, located outside of Union 314 in The Hub. Navigate Mean Green Fling like a pro!

• Non-profit organizations can sponsor Mean Green Fling for just $50! Organizations must be able to prove 501(c)3 non-profit status
