UNT Transfer Communities are a great way for new and continuing transfer students to get involved! Each community partners with another department on campus is led by Transfer Ambassadors, who serve as peer mentors. Transfer Communities vary in theme, meeting date, and schedule of events. These communities provide opportunities for students to connect with peers, build a network of students with similar interest, learn from our Transfer Ambassadors and UNT staff, get the full UNT experience, and make our large institution feel a bit smaller! Transfer Gaming Community
The Transfer Gaming Community is geared towards connecting transfer students through gaming! This community will meet every Wednesday at 4 pm in the Media Library and participate in a number of events ranging from open gaming nights to game-specific tournaments like Smash Bros, League of Legends, and more! This community is open to all transfer students and will feature events for both video gamers and tabletop gamers!
TRANSFERmation is a transfer community meant to help transfer students improve their leadership skills and provide opportunities for them to give back to their community. In this community you will learn about leadership principles and sharpen your leadership skills, make a positive impact in the UNT community, participate in social justice initiatives, and connect to leadership and service opportunities on campus.
Co-Ed Flag Football
The Transfer Center is putting together a Co-Ed Flag football team for this falls intramural season. If you are looking to get connected to other transfer students and get your fix of intramural sports this is the transfer community for you!
