"I have found my second home at UNT, thanks to the community I have built and the faculty and staff. I've grown and learned so much in the short time I've been here."
What attracted you to UNT?  

"I wanted to be at a diverse campus with lots of community, and being able to learn from and be in a community with many different types of people is vital to me. I also was really attracted to the campus when I toured, the campus is so pretty and charming."

How have you gotten involved in campus?

"I was an Orientation Leader this summer and now I am a First Year Experience Leader within the Orientation and Transition Programs office, looking forward to getting more involved in the coming year." 

What advice would you give to a student who is looking to make the most of their time at UNT?

"Respect yourself like you respect others, respect your time and your worth.  Get involved in things you enjoy, be around people who make you happy, and stay present as much as possible.  Oh also, go to class! Don't forget about academics but also don't let the stress rule your life while at college." 

How has your UNT experience been so far?

What's a fun fact about you?

"If I could only eat one thing for the rest of my life It would be be frozen peaches!"

What are your plans after you finish at UNT?

"My plans after UNT are to work in community-based work, probably working with teenagers in a social work context."
