"I serve as the Coordinator of Campus-Wide Events in the Student Activities Center. In my role I coordinate and plan a variety of programs and events, along with advising the Homecoming Crew."

How do you work with students? --- "Aside from my door always being open, my main connection with students is through homecoming. As the Homecoming Crew advisor, I have the opportunity to work with a selected group of students on the planning and implementation of 6 homecoming events."

How does your department work with students? --- "Student Activities promotes a sense of community and loyalty to UNT spirit and traditions. With more than 450 student organizations, students are able to find their home away from home on campus. Student connection, engagement, and involvement is what we do!"

What is your favorite part about working at UNT? --- "Having amazing colleagues and the opportunity to build memorable experiences for students, what more could you ask for?! My favorite part about working at UNT is definitely the sense of community. With my entire family being over 800 miles away, it is important that I have a place to call home. UNT has become that for me."

What does Student Affairs mean to you? --- "Student Affairs means support, service, and success for our students. Being dedicated to meet our students where they are and help them grow is the best part!"

How have UNT students impacted your life? --- "Having the opportunity to impact their lives as much as they impact mine, is an opportunity I will never take for granted. Our students are passionate, talented and inspiring - all characteristics I aspire to exude."

Fun fact about you? --- "I was a competitive dancer for 16 years before dancing in college for 2 years. I still take dance classes in my free time and am also a certified Zumba instructor. I love a good eight count!"
