What's an identity you're proud to share with others at UNT: I am proud to identify as a disabled person.  I have Cerebral Palsy and a Movement Disorder.  I get around campus using my trusty wheelchair, Cerebral Rollsy.  I strive with my colleagues to make disability an increasingly recognized part of diversity at UNT.

What does your role entail/what do you do: I assist students on getting their accommodations set up through the ODA registration process.  I work with students and professors on implementing their accommodations throughout their academic career at UNT.  I also present to allied campus offices on topics related to disability.

What is your favorite part about working at UNT: My favorite part about working at UNT is certainly the students.  I love that I can play a small part in an educational journey that will hopefully open doors later in life.

How have UNT students impacted your life: I learn from and am consistently rejuvenated by UNT students every day.  As a former UNT student,  I am happy that I am able to help students along with my great ODA team and other colleagues like the assistance I received.

Fun fact about you: When I was 2 years old I was on ABC World News Tonight with Peter Jennings while my mom was interviewed while holding me with a horrible perm.  (Also, fun UNT fact: There is one fridge on the far right of the wall of fridges in the UNT Corner Store that sells Dr. Pepper.  I always share that for fellow DP fans).
