Title & Department: Counselor for Counseling and Testing Services
Bio: "I'm from Los Angeles, California but come to UNT by way of New Orleans. I have resided in Louisiana for most of my collegiate career, which includes earning my bachelor's at Grambling State University and my master's at Xavier University of Louisiana. I bring with me experience as a private practice practitioner, where I serviced clients of multiple ages and backgrounds. I also have experience working in a school setting as the 9th grade counselor during my time at The New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy. Both roles have contributed to assisting me in developing my counseling identity and areas of interest. I work with clients from an Adlerian perspective, viewing counseling as a partnership between myself and my clients. Each brings an expertise and unique perspective to a session."
