Denise Akpan

Denise Akpan serves as the Associate Director of Marketing and Creative Services for the University Union, which includes overseeing the day-to-day marketing functions of University Centers and Events, department wide assessments, public relations, and providing guidance and oversight for Design Works. Denise collaborates with campus partners to ensure all marketing requests are addressed and implemented. Denise joined the UCE staff in July of 2022. She received her Bachelor of Psychology from Auburn University and moved to Texas to complete her Masters from Baylor University in 2019.
