What did you want to be when you were growing up?


Other than your current job, what careers did you work toward?

Veterinary technician, real estate.

When you were in high school, how did you choose your career path?

When I was in middle school we got to do job shadowing for a week. Our family veterinarian offered to let me shadow him and his practice and it was really inspiring. From then on I wanted to be a veterinarian and worked at the same veterinary office during summers through high school.

Who inspires you?

Bill Nye the Science Guy. I love that he tries to get kids interested in science and teach them about the climate crisis.

What three traits best describe you?

Ambitious, creative, open-minded.

What are your skills or talents that most people don't know about?

I was a ballet dancer until the age of 20, and I can knit pretty much anything.

What's your favorite place in the world?

York, a small town in southern Maine where I went during the summer growing up. My mom is from New England so we would go up there to visit her side of the family.

If you could visit any place you've never been, where would you go?

New Zealand.

What do you enjoy when you're not working or studying?

Indoor rock climbing and spending time with friends.

What are your favorite books and/or movies?

Fragile Things By Neil Gaiman.

What is your favorite meal?

Spaghetti with meat sauce.
