UNT New College at Frisco Career FairThe Career Center’s first Career and Internship Fair held at UNT New College at Frisco took place on Nov. 2. The event was preceded by a Career Prep session where students received advice on their resumes, elevator introductions and professional dress. In total, 35 students participated in the Career Fair Prep and 40 students participated in the Career Fair.

Students and employers alike enjoyed the event and the opportunity to meet.

UNT New College at Frisco Career Fair“Just wanted to give a HUGE thank you to all the employers that came out to the Career Fair,” said marketing senior Matt Leeks. “I went in feeling discouraged and left having so much hope for my future. Thank you for putting this together. I learned a lot from this experience, and I hope to attend more of these in the future!”

“I had an amazing time at the first ever UNT New College at Frisco Career Fair with Amber Vicknair,” said Spencer Shipman, HR manager for PINSTACK Bowl. “Thank you, Roxanne Verrelli, for inviting us to attend and speak with talented students at UNT Frisco. I am looking forward to next years’ Career Fair and continuing the relationship between UNT and PINSTACK.”
