The monthly mobile food pantry, hosted by the UNT Food Pantry Presented by Kroger and the Tarrant Area Food Bank, offers a variety of fresh produce, non-perishable food items, and essential household goods, all at no cost.

The UNT Food Pantry Presented by Kroger, in partnership with the Tarrant Area Foodbank, hosts monthly mobile food pantries each year throughout the fall and spring semesters. The first of the school year was held Friday, Sept. 6, serving a remarkable 340 community members— a new record! These monthly events are open to all members of the UNT community, including students, faculty, and staff, and aim to address food insecurity on campus.

The mobile pantry offers a variety of fresh produce, non-perishable food items, and essential household goods, all at no cost. This initiative is designed to alleviate hunger and ensure that everyone in the UNT community has access to nutritious food. The recent event's record turnout underscores the increasing demand for food assistance among the university's diverse population.

Volunteers, composed of both students, staff and community members, play an essential role in the distribution process, assisting in sorting and handing out food items. The Food Pantry continues to be a vital resource, dedicated to supporting the needs of the UNT community and fostering a healthier, more supportive environment for all.
